Patricia Buraschi is a gifted fashion designer and yoga instructor who has traveled around the world. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, she moved to New York in 1999 where she graduated with honors from Fashion Institute of Technology. Her artwork has been shown and sold in Asia, Australia, Spain, United States and Argentina. Patricia has been practicing Kundalini yoga since 2001. In the winter of 2008 she celebrated winter solsitce with the 3Ho Yogi community in Florida, an event that has profoundly changed her life. In January 2009 Patricia started Gnocchi del 29, a monthly culinary cultural event to build community and celebrate abundance and prosperity in our lives and a platform for artists of various media to exhibit their work. The motto is : Love, Prosperity and Art at the end of each month
Patricia traveled to India in 2009 where she “accidentally” met her Yoga teacher Smriti Chackravarti with whom she is deeply connected and studying Vedic Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga, Mantra, Pranayama and Shatkarma. After coming back from India, Patricia has been inspired to share the gifts of Yoga with children, she is currently collaborating with a Charter School in the Bronx creating a Yoga project to introduce and inspire families about the benefits of this practice.
Merging her design skills and spiritual practice, creating cultural events and yoga-art workshops for businesses and individuals, Patricia’s goal is to serve as a bridge to help the intercross their inner and outer worlds raising awareness about the abundance that constantly surrounds us and the fact that each individual has the power to shape and create the life they once dreamed of.
Patricia currently works assisting home births and teaching Yoga and Didgeridoo workshops in New York.
